⛴️ 1. What Happens During a Standard Yacht Charter?

A typical 4-hour yacht charter with SingYachts includes:

  • Boarding: At ONE°15 Marina Sentosa Cove or Marina@Keppel Bay (exact location depends on your chosen yacht).
  • Briefing: A quick 10-minute safety and cruise rundown by our friendly crew.
  • Cruise Out: A leisurely 30-minute sail towards the stunning Lazarus Island, passing through scenic southern waters.Cruise to Southern island from OneDegree15 Marina
  • Anchor Spot: The yacht anchors comfortably, generally in the middle of the water between Lazarus and St. John’s Islands. This spot is chosen for its calm waters, perfect for enjoying a wide range of water activities directly from the yacht, which is how most guests prefer to enjoy their time.
    • Where exactly do we anchor? Typically, the yacht will anchor in a calm bay (like locations A, B, or C on the Lazarus Island map provided below).
      • Points A & B (Monkey Bay): These are on the front side of the island. While excellent for water activities and relaxation, the beach is not directly accessible  from here. Guests would need to go to the Pulau Seringat pontoon/jetty (if available) and then walk across to the main Lazarus Island beach on the other side.
      • Point C (Eagle Bay / Lazarus Island Beach): This is on the other side of Lazarus Island. From this spot, the beach is directly visible and more easily accessible. While you still need to use kayaks onboard or a tender to reach the sandy shore, you’re anchoring directly in front of the beach itself.Typical anchoring spots around Lazarus Island.
    • What if guests want to go to the island/beach? While most guests enjoy water activities from the yacht itself, there are options if you wish to go ashore:
      • Kayaks/Tender Onboard: If your yacht is equipped with kayaks or a tender, guests can use them to paddle/be ferried from the anchored yacht directly to the nearby shore (especially from Point C / Eagle Bay).
      • Pulau Seringat Pontoon/Jetty: If anchoring at Points A or B, or if guests prefer, some yachts might be able to drop you off at the Pulau Seringat pontoon/jetty. However, please note: this jetty is not always available, especially during peak times as it can be occupied by other yachts. Also, only small to medium-sized yachts may be able to access it, and sometimes anchoring or dropping off there may not be permitted due to regulations.
  • Activities: Enjoy a range of onboard activities like swimming (directly from the yacht), karaoke, BBQ, or simply relaxing and soaking up the sun. • Return: A breathtaking city skyline cruise on the way back can often be included or added as an option for a small additional charge, offering unforgettable views of Singapore’s iconic landmarks.

💡 7. Tips for First-Time Guests

To ensure your first yacht rental is seamless and enjoyable, keep these tips in mind:

  • Arrive early: Most yachts operate on strict schedules and cannot extend time if you’re late. Aim to arrive 15-30 minutes before your scheduled boarding.
  • Wear non-slip footwear or go barefoot: This ensures safety and comfort on deck.
  • Avoid bringing bulky luggage: A small, soft bag is usually sufficient, as storage space on yachts can be limited.
  • Bring your playlist! Most yachts have Bluetooth music systems, so you can set the perfect ambiance.
  • No swimming after dark: For your safety, swimming is generally not permitted once the sun goes down.(mostly after 6:30pm)
